Gatewood Children’s Homes has three flagship programs entirely dedicated to the mission of stabilizing and promoting the success of Virginia’s at-risk youth.
Jordan House Group Home
For girls ages 12-18, Jordan House is a fully equipped group home run by highly-trained and specialized staff who provide 24/7, round-the-clock care. Residents receive weekly therapy in a safe, structured and family oriented environment to promote rehabilitation and stabilization.
Gates to Success ILA
Gates to Success Independent Living Arrangement gives young men and women, 17-21, the ability to live on their own in a personalized, fully furnished, single occupancy apartment. The program promotes self-reliance and problem-solving skills once living on their own.
Mommy and Me ILA
To cater to young mothers ages 17-21, the Gates to Success ILA program offers a specialized “Mommy and Me” arrangement. These larger two-bedroom apartments allow for crucial sleeping AND personal space. The program also provides an array of other features to ensure SAFE and Healthy conditions for both mother and child.
